Does anyone fancy building a model autogyro this winter? If so look at www.whirlybirdaviation.com

The autogyro in question is a DAG R1,R2 etc .
You can build a basic profile bodied model up to a pukka 1930’s scale’ish autogyro

I have tried to e-mail the designer to find out how to obtain the plans? But the e-mail button crashes my computer!!!

There is plenty of info on r/c type forums. You will require a gearbox, which hopefully is available from Fanfare at £16.00. (Master Airscrew 500 gearbox).
So to sum up I am still searching for plans. All help would be appreciated

Hi Richard I have found some DAG plans there are some om good old Ebay look for model autogyro.Don't hang about bids end this week end 19th July.I am look at making a RCM plan of'Gyro Shtick'will let you know how it if/when i start .

Whoops , I missed the auction but I would be interested to know how you get on. Maybe we could set a trend and have a fleet of autogyros!

I can see I will have to put my money where my mouth is . I have been side tracked onto other projects.
Logos ,Slope soaring and general repairs.
Plus I hope to build my own design 1930's style IC plane over the winter months.So the auto-giro has
fallen by the wayside
It would be good if next year we had a pair of auto-giros flying round together.
